Visiting the German Christmas market in Chicago is an annual Christmas tradition so when I heard there was a market similar in Vancouver you can only imagine how merry this made me:) I wasn’t that crazy about paying $6 to get in, but now that I’ve visited the market three times in the last two weeks I think I’ve gotten my money worth;) Sorry, Vancouverites – this is a free activity both in Chicago & throughout Germany. Kendra & I happily made a trip to the Vancouver Christmas Market on the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza for this week’s eat sip shop series. Full of holiday wonderfulness – a sure bet to lift your holiday spirits! rows of German vendors selling a range of tasty & authentic gifts from beautiful Christmas ornaments to steins to traditional cookies, cakes and candies. a thick, scrumptious hot chocolate was a must on this cold night!Typical closed eyes & mid-sentence happiness with a cup of my favourite Christmas beverage,  Glühwein;)flammkuchen in the making – sooooo good. Bacon & Crème fraîche, how could it not be?Definitely make some time to spend an afternoon or evening at the Vancouver Christmas market.
