Hi lovelies! Hope you had a nice weekend! I headed to Victoria on Saturday for the Victoria Half Marathon. First time visiting & boy did they exceed my expectations. Not only was the little city charming, but the folks were great. Met some locals on the ferry over & around the city. two thumbs up.My lady Tamie came along for the journey. We stayed at the loveliest little airbnb house right outside of downtown. We had Saturday afternoon & evening to do a bit of sightseeing. How gorgeous is the Empress hotel? And the Parliament building? Wow.
Donuts after a beautiful run around a runner’s paradise = happy as a clam:) I also loved how small the half marathon was. Plenty of room to breathe & take in the incredible views.
* An extra special shout out to those who donated to the Athletics for Kids organization. Thank you again! I appreciate it so so much & so do all the awesome kids:) Really. You’re the best!
The ferry ride itself was amazing enough to make the trip again. Hoping to go back soon with a little more time to spare. I had such a good weekend that left me feelin’ pretty optimistic about the upcoming months.
xx
